Marmalade Glazed Ham
Wonderful for a gathering or just when you want a good ham. Don't want to share with your family and friends? Leftover ham sandwiches, ham and cheese scones, croque monsier, use the drippings for ham gravy, use the ham bone for soup or beans.
Marmalade Glaze
- 1 cup Meyer Lemon Marmalade
- 2 oz bourbon
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Combine all ingredients in a small pot and heat while stirring until the marmalade dissolves and everything is thoroughly combined.
- Tent the ham in foil and bake at 400 F for approx one hour.
- Remove the foil and glaze the ham getting some of the nice marmalade pieces in between the layers of the ham.
- Bake at 425 for another 20-30 mins until the ham is nice & caramelized on the outside.
Let rest 30 mins slice an enjoy
Don't forget to save the ham drippings for gravy.
